I drink scooters nearly daily. The coffee wasn’t necessarily bad here But the service tonight was less then ideal. We walked in at 5:45 and ordered two drinks. We didn’t get the normal “welcome to scooters”. We got a dirty look instead, I’m guessing it being a holiday the closing time was 6pm tonight and maybe that’s why. I’m hoping this is correct anyhow because at 5:59pm we were told we needed to leave because the gal working was closing. Now I’ve worked customer service and restaurant jobs - never did I expect a paying customer to leave at the closing time as long as they were in the store and ordered by closing. Normally this maybe wouldn’t be so upsetting but we were meeting our family here and we instead stood in the cold outside. I don’t know if this is the policy for this establishment but it came across very rude.

Everyone in the shop is friendly that I’ve met. The manager is wonderful. They make drinks and are happy to make difficult ones I spew off. If there’s something wrong with a drink I don’t feel criticized.I appreciate them!
