Aside from the first delivery of drinks, no other attendance to the table was done. We did not get a refill on drinks despite requesting multiple times. Chef was fab but rest of staff was lacking proper skills and the lack of adequate staff was abundantly clear.

The entertainment was good. The food was OVERLY SALTY. Everything tasted like soy sauce. Nothing else. They don't include fried rice or noodles or pay $5 extra each person! Just white rice is given, tiny cup. No flavor. The clear soup was thick & grainy, very salty! The drinks NEVER came. We had to go ask. And no refills. NEVER AGAIN. THERES BETTER ELSEWHERE. Waited for 35 minutes for cook to come out. Waited 1 hour for drinks. DO NOT GO THERE. Our meal with 6 sodas was $366 !!!!!! No alcohol.

I ordered filet mignon and my wife ordered the tofu steak. The food was cooked in front of us and it was entertaining to watch the cook prepare it. The entrées were very good. However, I was somewhat surprised to have to pay extra to get fried rice.

Would give my experience last night one star, but typically have really great and awesome service. There was barely any customers in, lots of staff doing tasks, but our waiter was training, which is okay, train the new generation! What wasn’t okay was no soup & salads after 30 minutes, my drinks were never brought out. Ended up leaving with just my combinations to go because they were already done when we decided to leave. This was after our sushi just sat there as our waiter did not seem to care to check on us. After he walked past us plenty of times, or into the bathroom multiple times. The waiter who was training owes his trainee an apology for not teaching him excellent customer service. Usually have really great experiences here, even when it is packed, so maybe our usual waitress set the bar too high? Did not feel taken care of last night, will be back of course as usually it is really great, but when there’s nobody there, there’s a certain level of expectation to atleast get our soup and salads and drinks before all of our meal is thrown at us as it’s been sitting waiting to be brought out.

If you go here I recommend sitting at the hibachi section, not the other part. We sat at a regular table, and service was very slow. It took like 45 minutes for food to arrive, except for the sushi. The food was good though when it showed up.

My wife and I went to Shogun with my local friends who live in Lincoln. We selected to seat Teppanyaki. The chef performance was so funny, excite, and great. He never made us tired to watch the cooking. The teppanyaki food was a very large portion which was really reasonable price. Of course, all teppanyaki foods that we ordered were so so delicious. Super luckily, our table was shared with Nebraska Women's Volleyball team. I do not know all of their names but I am very familiar with Harper Murray who was sitting in the front of my seat. They were at Shogun to celebrate one player's birthday. Good taste for foods, good the teppanyaki performance, and good reasonable price, I will definitely go there when I revisit to my friends.

Rude staffed argued about prices. Claimed they didn’t have a website but then pulled up the website in front of me. Their prices are significantly lower online but once I went to pay for my pick up order they stood their ground on these “new prices”. Unprofessional to up prices on the spot and refuse to give me my order til I paid the “new prices”.
