Placed an order for wings and cassava fries. The fries were not what I expected so I asked to order another side and it came right out. Once I received the receipt I saw the fries were still on my bill and I questioned it. Manager/Owner came over and rudely told me he gave me a 20% discount off the fries and said he’s not taking them off because I ordered them. Mind you I only tasted one and didn’t like it at all. This was my first visit (out of town guest) and a horrible one. Customer Service is everything and I felt his response was not exceptional at all. I will NOT be returning.

REALLY solid Caribbean food here. I think Caribbean food is some of the most underrated food in the world and Stur 22 is a good representation of the style. I really enjoyed everything I got in my bowl especially the j*** pork and fried plantains. As I type this review, my booth is watering thinking about it.A couple things I wish were different about the restaurant:1. The music was uncomfortably loud made conversation difficult for lunchtime.2. The prices are very expensive for downtown Lincoln. It’s very inaccessible for many people’s lunch budget even taking into consideration recent inflation. Portion was good but $5 too expensive at each size. Sultan’s Kite across the street is a much better value though I MUCH prefer the food at Stur 22.

Informal lunch setup, but the food was SUPERB! It came in a to-go type container but the j*** chicken was tender and the jollof rice was fluffy and not dry. The plantain was seasoned well and all of it had phenomenal flavor and spice!

A coworker told me about this place. I'm so thankful she did! The staff is super busy but so friendly. Everything I've ordered here has been delicious.Blackened shrimp, pineapple slaw, plantains, with jollof rice is my personal favorite BUT you can't go wrong no matter what you decide.On our last visit my SO tried a new menu item of curry goat, it did not disappoint. Ty the coconut cheesecake if you have room dessert!

Good food, but very pricey. I had a plate of mostly rice with a bit of greens, corn, and j*** pork. It was deliciously spiced, but hard to justify the bill for a single entree of mostly rice being over twenty bucks, especially without even having a drink included in that.

Seemed like the only people working were maybe 2 people in the kitchen and one person at the bar. Took ages to get a server to speak with us and put in an order. Food took forever to get done as well.I hope they can work on staffing more consistentlyLuckily the wings were INCREDIBLE. I have had dreams about eating more wings several times since eating here.
Both the j*** chicken and the stew were amazing. Chicken was charred perfectly and the stew's flavor was excellent.Wife's mule was made exactly like it should be with no fancy distractions.Try to get here and enjoy.

The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed. The person bringing us our food, 1 of the owners I think apologized for the delay, we thought the service was perfect and didn't feel we had to wait too long for anything. The food was also very good. I'd recommend it for anyone who is tired of the bland nondescript food at most restaurants. It's a downtown restaurant/bar that isn't serving your basic bar food. It's food with flavor. I think you could pick anything on the menu and be pleased.

I LOVE this spot. Probably the most unique spot in Lincoln. The food is amazing and you won't find a nicer owner than Charles. I'm annoying and always ask for employee recommendations at restaurants and the people at Stur are always more than happy to tell me their favorite combos. If you haven't been, you have to go.

This is my husband and I new go to! The food is amazing and very flavorful. It took our minds back to our hometown and his culture. The vibe is very chill and the music was nice as well. You can come as a family or for date night! Eating at Stur 22 took my mind to another place. 10/10 please go visit Charles at his beautiful restaurant.
