We were there twice this week to use up bonus cards that were about to expire. Went for Taco Tuesday. My kids and I love to sub beans for the meat on the tacos. Just wish they weren't always so skimpy with the cheese. We also shared a Super Potato minus the meat. Second time was after I realized Fish Tacos were back. These are probably the best fast food version out there. Loved the sauce this year. Crispy and fresh. Worth the wait after being asked to pull forward and park from the drive thru.

In the last two months, they've increased prices on most things by $0.20 - $0.30. The first photo is from the last day of July, and the second is from today at the end of September. Some items are still the same price, but everything else has gone up and they got rid of the cheapest item on the value menu. I'm so tired of all these fast food places charging ridiculous prices for the lowest quality food.

I had a few issues when I went thru drive thru around 9:30 at nite on Nebraska Parkway and 56 in Lincoln Ne. I waited my turn to order and ordered a 6 pack and pound large size for $1 more with half hard and half soft shells with the okra cooked twice to be crisp with a nacho cheese added as the employee suggested it and reminded me I wanted one also I added a churro to finish my order. Waited my turn to get my order, not a terrible long wait at that time of nite. I paid and the help was friendly and gave me my receipt and said everything on my order was correct, moments later I received my order and I did a quick check to ensure all correct. Well upon arrival to my home to eat my meal I realized I forgot to ask for any sauces so unfortunately my food was just okay as they did not offer any sauces when ordering or paying. Then my second let down was that they forgot to give me the nacho cheese sauce they offered me to purchase for my oles not as tasty but they cooked everything perfectly for my order. I would have given a high 4 for my order but the two mishaps made my revue a 4 instead. I will take partial responsibility for missing the sauce packets as feel they should have offered them. All in all I visit this facility regularly and feel is the best location in Lincoln and things like this happen, so I will return as usual for the food. Thank You for great food ..

Place is still about a 3 star from a year ago. Food is good, just sucks when they miss stuff. Order a meat and potato burrito. Had maybe one potato ole in my entire burrito. Pretty sad.

While the service is great, the food is atrocious. There are so many other options when craving Mexican or Tex-Mex cuisine, and Taco John's is at the very bottom.
