The price was good for the quantity. I am not a fan of their okra soup, though the quantity was sufficient. The falafel was very good!

Started with the Mixed Appetizer which includes Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Eggplant Salad, and Taboula. Served with Pita. It was all good, it's going to be a personal preference. Hummus was heavy on the tahini, Baba Ganoush was super flavorful even though smoky is not my favorite. Eggplant is not my jam, Taboula was yummy with the herbs.
We decided we should each try a wrap since they were running a special for 5 bucks. I got the Falafel sandwich and my husband the Beef Kebab version. They were delicious! We both agreed we'd pay full price for them.
Dolmas are one of his favorite things. It's grape leaves stuffed with rice and usually ground meat. These ones were vegetarian so I got a taste. He liked them, but missed the meat, he'd still eat them again. He was also excited for the Kuba Plate, having eaten a homemade version of it previously. He really liked it. They came up short on the serving size so we were given free Baklava to make up for it!
They also have Hot Tea that you can help yourself to for free. It was perfectly matched with the flavors of the Baklava and I'm sure the same could be said for any of the desserts.
Speaking of which...
The dessert case was fully stocked. Although we had no more vacancy in our stomachs we knew we had to take something home. We tried a dish called Kunafa which is shredded phyllo dough with cheese, pistachios, and syrup. It was different but good, the whole fam had a bite, super rich. The Tiramisu Cake was calling our names. I don't really like sweet and this was soooo yummy. I could picture myself showing up for a slice and a cup (or two or three) of that tea!
Front of house was ran by one woman who was very kind and patiently answered all of our questions. She checked on us to make sure we were happy and that we were enjoying our meal. We felt very much at home. ❤️

This was my first visit. The food was cooked in a reasonable time and packaged well. I preferred the beef kebab over the chicken. The pita bread was good, and they had good rice. The garlic sauce was nice, the garlic wasn’t overpowering. I intend to return.

Tried Taj Ali for the first time yesterday at the Pine Lake location at lunch. WOW. You need to go there. The food was AMAZING. I had the chicken shawarma and it was so fresh and the portions were generous. The service was great, food came out fast too. I hear they cater also. Definitely delicious!

Very bland food. Service was acceptable. Atmosphere was odd, but not unpleasant. Good for a quick sit down meal, but not a have-to visit restaurant.
