We drove about 2 hours to enjoy a wonderful meal or so we thought. Not a great visit at all. As we were placing our order not 1 or 2 even 3 but 4 cockroaches ran across the bar. The bartender tried to cover it up but my husband and I both still noticed them. Very disappointed to say the least. It may be a while before our next visit.

We came from York for our best friends birthday! Called an hour ahead for a table of 10 was told when we got there that there was still people in our table and we were just waiting. I was very understanding of this as our group is also talkers. No big deal. Move forward. We get our drinks ordered. Let the server know it was our friends birthday. Lo and behold we were missing a drink. No big deal again. We order our food quickly after we got our drinks. Two of our party, ordered house salads that took an hour to get to make a salad. At this point, we were all getting tired, hungry and a little upset. Oh, I forgot to mention this entire time, we still hadn’t gotten the famous rolls. At some point, the birthday girl asked our server to bring us rolls. His response was that he was sorry they were running behind and didn’t have any rolls. No big deal again. However, when we saw baskets going to tables that were just sitting down an hour after we had been waiting, it really pissed us off. Again we ask our waiter for rolls, he states, “We are 100% out”. Which was funny as we watched baskets go to tables that were his next to us. My husband goes and speaks with the manager as we were still waiting on our food after an hour. It was a miracle, we had two baskets of rolls at our table within minutes. BUT, we still didn’t have our food! 45 minutes later, so yes an hour and 45 minutes since we sat down, we see our server with our food! (Yay!) BUT some of our orders were missing sides, and the worst was all of our food was cold. Our birthday girl had cold shrimp. Our steaks were cold. My husband’s MASHED potatoes had a raw potato chunk in it. At this point there was no coming back from this. We spoke with the manager again about our experience of two hours! And the manager said he could get us new food going. We asked, “how long will it take for that?” He said, “probably 12-15 minutes”. Judging by our experience of a two hour wait to get cold food. This was unacceptable. Honestly it was probably not safe to eat. We then waited another 30 minutes for our checks to come very minimally comped for what was a TERRIBLE experience. To boot, we didnt even get to celebrate the birthday! This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I have ever had!

Our server Griffon, was excellent! Kept our drinks refilled, was quick with rolls, and appetizers. And our food came out super fast! And he checked on us and made sure everything was up to par! Absolutely great service and he does a great job!!!! ☺️☺️☺️

Every time I order a well done steak for my pregnant wife from here. It’s still extremely pink and never well done, and it’s become a thing often. I use to love this place but I don’t appreciate you not cooking my meal the way I ask for it due to safety reasons. So sad.

Server did great, but they got our order wrong I ordered a 16 0z ribeye and they gave me a sirloin and my husband ordered his steak medium but it was medium well. We didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes to get new ones so we ate what she brought. This is the 2nd time we go and have a bad experience
