Great food and atmosphere.
Seriously love this place. Never had an unfriendly staff. Always pleasant and helpful. Food is great, good variety for being essentially a bar. Kid friendly. Mix of different drinks. Top spot for us and we live out of town.

I'm usually a big fan of Hawk's Nest, but we didn't have a great experience tonight. It was seat yourself, which is usually no big deal, but they were busy and I think we got overlooked as it took a while for us to get greeted and have our drink order taken. There were numerous dirty booths and tables but it looked like only one person was bussing tables. We ordered an appetizer (Mac and cheese bites) and when it was delivered, there was no silverware, napkins, or plates brought out. The appetizer was good and we did get our silverware when we asked for napkins. The food was good (Swiss mushroom burger, triple bacon burger with frings, and bone in wings), as has been our experience in the past. My only complaint was I paid an extra dollar for frings, but I got a noticeably smaller pile of fries than another member of my group and my medium rare burger was very pink compared to my wife's medium rare burger.

Great food and service! The sweet potato fries with the marshmallow fluff is a fun treat. There is a fun updated take on sports bar good.
