I've been wanting to visit this place since I spotted it on the corner so I took my boyfriend there for a date night. Quick observations, some good, some bad, and some in between.1. The server seemed very nice, attentive, and answered all our questions.2. The green salsa tasted great. The only thing that could have elevated the experience would be if the chips were heated/warmed. But that is just a personal preference3. I'm not sure what to make of the tradition red salsa. But I did not like it. My tastebuds became confused and it reminded me of cold tomato soup. Which was quite surprising since they seemed to have taken great care and thought into the green salsa offering.4. I know that they had recently purchase what used to be a diner and then a Japanese steak house. But I am hoping that they will eventually transition to purchasing their own serving dishes and the like. It appeared that they were utilizing old diner syrup containers to serve the salsa as well as Asian inspired plating for the serving of the salsa. The set up just seemed all over the place. But I do know that they just recently moved into this building still I hope that it will be something they will work on. One of the things I enjoy about Mexican restaurants is the atmosphere. I'd say that is the one thing I would work on here.

The Salvadoran food was great. The Mexican food was mediocre, the ambiance of the Japanese steakhouse was hilarious. Get the pupusas and leave it at that.They could fix the lighting. 4/5 stars.

Their food is great. The place is clean. But a to go order will take nearly an hour to come. It’s like dude, I’d like to get on with my day. I would frequent it more because the food is awesome but the wait times are insane. Should not take this long.

I see that's there is a lot of good reviews about this place, I might of been just unlucky with when I decided to go but regardless it was a bad experience for me, our table and seats were dirty with food and the server just brushed some of it off onto the floor with his hand and said it will be okay, for my food I ordered it to be chicken I got beef instead, and for my wife's food her chicken she got was still pink and uncooked, the beans that came with my food was more liquidity then my water and the sauce was like 80% oil. We both ended up getting sick, and will definitely never come back eat here at your own risk.
