This is just a good old timey malt and popcorn shop. It must have been built in the 40s or 50s and it's absolutely nostalgic. Nothing special except for getting some Sweet Treats in a working time capsule! Malts are pretty pricey but what isn't these days and also if you're an oddball like me, they do sell ice cream mix milk and if you thought you ever wished you could drink an ice cream cone, well you can but, just beware that it's absolutely phenomenal tasting and it gives you about four days worth of fat and caloric intake in one half gallon if you like to smash things like I do!! Haha

We love coming to topper poppers but girl working Oct 2 at night was completely rude she was eating when she opened the window didn't even wash her hands and said to our faces ā ugh i wish people would stop coming inā she ruined one of our favorite childhood experiences.

Hey! Iām a current employee of Topper Popper and Iāve been going there since I was little. My mom worked there 30 years ago, and my dad has been going there since the 70s! Karen and Mike are the two best bosses Iāve ever had, both are kind but strict about the business, making sure the business runs well but also genuinely caring about their employees and customers!
Mike especially has always been kind and community-oriented. Heās the reason Topper Popper is still around, and the reason we have been making so many more popcorn flavours recently!
I will always come here, not only for the phenomenal soft serve, but the amazing popcorn and sno-balls too! Love this place! (Also, a 1Ā¢ raise would be very appreciated š)

I have gone into the store today, there was a dead roach under the popcorn stand in the front. And when i went to kick it out with my foot my shoe stuck to the floor from what im assuming was grease. My ice cream tasted off and reading other reviews i can see why. I also had something funny looking in my popcorn bag that im praying wasnt mouse dropping. But ive heard things about where they keep the bags of kernels. Its just all in all a really dirty store. Doesnt look like they clean very well. And when i asked for reeses for my toppings they scooped them in and dropped pieces of it into other toppings. Makes me concerned for allergens. The employees there are very disrespectful and i saw what is supposed to be the manager just sitting outside in her car not helping with anything inside. All in all today was a very disappointing day. I used to love this place as a kid. But after that i do not think i will be coming back.

The Topper Popper is a perfect example of an Iconic Lincoln Business. Iām 53 years old and Iāve been going to the Topper Popper since I was a little kid and both my kids still enjoy it today! Mike is an amazing person who embodies the passion of a small business owner. He cares about keeping an old business thriving and improving, without losing its nostalgic charm for the good of the community! It places like this that keep me coming back to good ol days!
