Very short of help. Not using half the restaurant due to that. Not super busy but we had to wait 25 minutes for a table. Only 2 other couples waiting. Our waitress was great and food was great!!

I love Village Inn. Hardly ever pass up an opportunity to eat there. Have eaten there so many times over the past twenty five years or so. Love their breakfast items. Had an omlett today, pancakes, and hashbrowns. All were amazing.

Waitress was not the best for sure. Only was happy when given a big tip.

It got a facelift and looks fancier than other Village Inns. It's now The Village Inn. And we got a little sticker-shocked too. The VIB is now $12.50. I ended up getting the Smothered Breakfast Burrito and it tasted great. It also came with jalapenos, which I don't remember from previous times, but it was a welcomed addition. Our waitress was great, but it did seem like they were shortstaffed for a Saturday with the two servers and manager running around.

My wife and I ate at the south 27th village inn. The waitress was wonderful her name was Joslynn. 10 stars for her. She ask several times if we needed anything and just checked on us. And they were very busy, but she still took the time to check. Ok now for the food. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Tasted very good, but the amount of hashbrowns I got was very very small, and I mean very small. For $13.25 I think more hashbrowns would be appropriate. My wife ordered the VIB and the sausage patty was 2 inch in diameter and about 3/8 inch thick. And that was for $12.50. Cup of coffee $3.25. I think that is little high. All in all I think Village Inn is to high for the amount of food you get. Therefor I sorta doubt if we go back . And you have to ask for the senior discount or you don't get it. Village inn use to be a good place to eat, but prices are to high for what you get. Sorry Village Inn.

I wasn't able to utilize anything from here. I was bringing a friend with sensory issues to eat lunch and music playing so loud we were forced to leave as we were told they can't do anything about the music as it's corporate who's making them play music. They didn't even offer to turn it down. We went to Greenfields where they were happy to turn the music; not down but off.

The server was terribleIt wasn't busy, and we were sat by the host right away.Waited half an hour for the server to even approach our table. Even after making eye contact with them on many occasions. When they did, we ordered right away, then ended up waiting ANOTHER half an hour for our food to arrive only to be luke warm and incomplete. Server was also very quiet and not welcoming. A few other tables were frustrated with the service and one table even left after waiting so long for their food. The server never checked up on us and would disappear entirely. At least the food tasted good. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a waste of your time. We had the biscuits and gravy and the cheesecake French toast. No excuses on the awful wait times. We were excited about trying this place. The menu looked so amazing that it was hard to choose something, but I unfortunately don't see myself going back. As a server myself, very disappointing, do better.

Ate at 27th Pine Lake location in Lincoln NE. Only 2 servers were available. I’m giving our server ‘Taylor’ 5 stars. She did everything right. She noticed things that were not correct with food and made corrections without hesitation. Great job Taylor.

Food was fine. Waitress was unfriendly and abrupt. She didn't come to check on us while eating. She seemed very irritated when we asked for a coffee after our meal.
