The food was excellent. I had the salmon at medium and the flavor was outstanding. My friend had the duck with lentils and she couldn't stop raving about how much she was enjoying the lentils. The food was served hot. The ambience was an old mountain lodge vibe and very pleasant. Our server was very attentive.
We had a very pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is very quiet so conversation is easy. Only negative is that most of the entrees had beans of one kind or another. As a no bean fan, I found this unusual.
Wow! The chimichurri trout was the most incredible dish I have had in a long time. Lovely presentation and cooked to perfection.
Hate to tell y’all because I want to keep it for myself. Hub had the pork chop as big and tender as the state of Iowa. Amazing. And the evening on the deck was absolutely sublime. Thank you Chef Bolz for a night!
