Great place, kinda like staying at grandma's house lol, some of the rooms have privet bathrooms, some do not. But a great place and the owner was super welcoming
If you're a group of guys who want absolutely no frills you right there just to go fishing this is the place to stay. Most rooms share bathrooms, I don't believe any of the rooms have showers you share those also, my room didn't have a TV and the Wi-Fi was sporadic at best.Although my mattress was comfortable it was about 2 ft shorter than I was.The woman that owns or runs the places is a very sweet lady though so treat her right.

I stayed the night here with my speech team and honestly we had a great time. The rooms are all beautiful, and the art in them is refreshingly not modern. That’s how you could sum up the entire place. Refreshingly not modern. Breakfast was good, and I suspect the jam was locally made. Apparently the AC doesn’t work in some rooms, so you may want to bring a fan, my group just opened up the window in our room and we did fine. The entire place is pretty small, but well decorated. It’s not the kind of modern hotel that usually gets awarded five stars, but it is the kind of blast from the past that deserves it.
Great place to stay. Host is very generous
This is a most wonderful place to stay away from home.
Very neat and historical place
The owner is awesome and the food from the cafe is amazing. The rooms are quaint and rustic giving you the country feel. The air conditioners aren't the best but you can ask the owner, Sherri, for something.

Old school hotel. This thing is simple, but has character.
Best home style cooking I've had in a long while!!!
Great historic hotel, small town charm
I was sort of stuck; I had to stop for the night and here I was in Loup City. I wasn't even sure the Frederick was open, but called the number and a nice lady came to the door. I was the only guest on a Tuesday night. It is an old hotel, so if you're expecting a modern feel, then this is not the place (but good luck finding that in Loup City!). However, my room did have its own bathroom, TV, WiFi, and mini-fridge. I was comfortable and enjoyed the feel of the historic building. If you have an open mind, you can have a really nice time. All the rooms are upstairs, so if you have mobility challenges this might not be for you, otherwise you might just enjoy run of the place!
Neat place, owner polite.
