Mac's was a fun stip for lunch while in McCook. We were visiting family amd decided to go to Macs for lunch with Grandma. Ordering via the phone was fun. Prices were in the ballpark of any other quick serve restaurant. Food was delocious - burgers, onion rings and fries are all homemade, and our milk shakes were flavorful. My daughter had left her activity bag in the booth, and the stellar young man who was bussing tables was so quick that he found it and ran it outside before we were even in our car. Nect time we visit McCook, we will make sure to stop at Mac's
This place was amazing!!! I was working in town for a little over a week and really wanted to go. Due to work I kept not being able to make it so I spent an extra morning in town to get it on my drive day outta town. Food was fresh, flavorful, and a fun experience. Only disappointment was not making it there sooner so I only got to go once. Hope im in town again for another meal!!
-Make sure to note their hours. They were only only Tuesday-Saturday 11-4 when I was in town. This is a must not miss!

Looked like a nice classic drive in but the food was awful. No flavor (no salt on fries, onion rings or burgers), and really dry burgers. I hope it's just an off day but I don't think I'd go back and pay to find out. It's like sonic, but bad.

Worlds best old school diner youll ever eat at. Wish the hours was more friendly but hey slammin food is worth waiting for in small town usa. You can not go wrong at macs. Original car hop style drive in and inside seating aswell, perfect joint all in all 🙏🤙

It's more about things like ordering from a phone that is attached to your booth or the carhop service they still use to deliver orders to your car. They still make several things from scratch. Their fresh cut fries, ham salad sandwiches, fabulous homemade dressings, onion rings, pizza burgers, and other delicious choices.
