Loved this place stop anytime I come through McCook but it's definitely lost some of its magic since being sold.

Staff is rude, abrupt and little or no help. Nothing like the previous owners . The atmosphere is stark and uninviting, wall menus are child like at best. Will not be back .

We had the nut cinnamon roll, glazed donut, and apple fritter, all three were delicious, long line but moved fast, plenty of space to sit down, very cute

Everytime I have been to McCook Nebraska to visit my parents, I am always so excited the get donut sandwiches(Delawares). The place that use to make them was so good, full of ham or sausage and lots of cheese. I a m in McCook today and was so excited again to go in to bakery and get my fave donut sandwich for breakfast. We'll let me tell you how sad I was that 1st of all the blonde haired young girl behind the counter acted like we were bothering her and then when we did get them well.... they were awful 2 thin slices of ham lunch meat and early any cheese. They were half empty and they charge $8.00. WOW Embers way to ruin what was great. Also so sorry that as a paying customer I botherd you by being a paying customer.

Don't order ice in your drink, they dump it in your cup with their hands.
Could do with some breakfast burritos or similar, but the doughnuts are still good.
"Since they've sold, it's been twice as expensive and twice as rude" is what one local told me.

Very good food and coffees. The Beaver Creek is my favorite sandwich on the menu, followed closely by the Apple Planter. The savory breakfast items, all baked treats and the Red Pepper Gouda soup are also delicious!
Vegetarian options: Desserts, donuts etc are vegetarian but would not recommend lunch for vegetarians as there are not options for vegetarian meals. You could, however, order a basic side salad and possibly a soup option that didn’t have meat if available such as the red pepper gouda soup. There is also a grilled cheese on the menu.

Nice place messed up order but didn't charge us. We got there right before noon and we were only ones there by time we ordered, it was packed. Very good food. Like the style. Decent bathrooms. Friendly. Would help if had idea how many carbs were in the lunch foods just from diabetic stand point. Very good. Recommend the apple sandwich.

It's like Panera, except Dutch.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are a small variety, but available.
Parking: It's in the center of a declining brick road. Wheelchairs and those with bad balance should be wary.
