I've lived in McCook my whole life. I believe tropical snow has been open for about 3 years now. In that time I never went until the other day. The girlfriend and I stopped for some snow cones and were thoroughly disappointed. Never once did we actually get to taste the snow cones. Instead we waited outside it standing in the Sun in 105° weather to be told just wait your next I'll take your order later. At first that doesn't seem like a horrible deal. The girl who's running the joint is making a couple other snow cones for other people. We stood there waiting for more than 20 minutes. Unfortunately the girlfriend has had heat stroke numerous times and in our time standing out there she was coming down with symptoms and we have to go. The girl serving served three other people ahead of us who we were in line before and wouldn't even ask us what we wanted or hardly acknowledge that we were there. She was just rude and it was disappointing that we couldn't even order anything. It was a waste of time to go there.

They stayed open past close so my kiddos wouldn’t miss out on their nightly sno cones. The owner is so friendly, and accommodating. The staff is always fast, super nice, and very helpful. We love to support local businesses, especially small businesses. This is definitely one of our favorites!
