We had a wonderful stay at the inn during this year's sandhill crane season. Linda is a delight with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history, and breakfast was incredible every day. Rooms were very comfortable and homey, and George (the farm dog who lives on site) was a treat to hang out with. Would stay there again if we went back!
My wife and I enjoyed a one night stay here on a recent cross-country trip. Linda gave us lots of recommendations about where to have dinner. The room was very nice, quiet, the company friendly. We asked and heard a lot about the history of her family in the area.
My husband and I were blown away by the hospitality and helpfulness of our hosts, Bob and Linda. Linda gave tips on places to go and she also knew good spots for birding. The inn is a charming, beautifully maintained historic farmhouse. Our bedroom was spotless with a big porch to sit on. I would recommend both the inn and the adjoining events center (we got a tour).
