I am a type 1 diabetic & ordered a sugar free caramel latte, hot with oat milk. It was delicious. 40 minutes later my Dexcom was alerting my sugars were rising at a 3% rate and getting higher. I called the coffee shop & although she apologized she was not very understanding or remorseful. She offered to refund my money. As a diabetic $10 means nothing when your life is on the line. I could have easily went into diabetic shock. It’s been 24 hours and I am still fighting to get my sugars stabilized. Sugar free means SUGAR free. Take it seriously.

Our initial trip here was disappointing to say the least. We requested iced white mochas with extras ( that we were charged for which is fine...) but the drinks themselves were not up to par with most shops. We were served cold brew as coffee instead of pulled hot shots. This is becoming a business habit that is offending to customers who expect expresso and end up getting cold brew which is NOT the same. I'm sure it is prepared this way to save money but the flavor gets watered down when expresso is not used. So the next time customers ask for an iced latte make sure you either tell them it's cold brew or post a sign saying that expresso is extra. And to charge extra for whip cream? C'mon man !!
