Stopped in for breakfast with my daughter while on vacation at the Nebraska Star Party. An older building but food was well worth it and the owner/cook was very polite and great to talk with. I have been through this area for the previous few years, but I never knew it was there. The price was very reasonable. We will be back in the future.

We drove six hours to get to Mullen Nebraska to go tanking. We were told to make sure we were at this restaurant by 7:30 because they close at eight. We had 13 people and the waitress made it more than obvious how inconvenient it was For her because they close at 8 o’clock she told us to sit wherever we want the fryers get shut off in 15 minutes and walked away. We do not recommend this place. It also stinks inside of that restaurant . 100% do not recommend. Your waitress has no business working with the public

Ridiculous pricing, $15 chicken fried steak with no gravy!?!, wow...the cook used his ungloved hand to pull out a frozen chunk of hash browns from the freezer that we split, yuk...the omelette I had because it was all I could afford wasnt seasoned, bland, couldn't finish...lost my appetite, $4 per item build your own breakfast, so a normal breakfast with bacon eggs hasbrowns toast etc would be around $16?! Ad a pancake now its $20! Absurd, I can't see how they stay open, low recommendation

I have grown up going to Red's for any meal of the day. Breakfast was a go-to for my family. Bill, Helen, and DeeDee are great people! Thank you for serving the community for so many years!

We were returning from a week long trip to Yellowstone and we stayed at the nearby sandhills motel for a night (check my review that I've posted there). After our terrible experience at the motel, we went to have a simple breakfast in the morning not knowing what to expect. There was an elderly gentleman who was the one-man person serving food at this place and taking care at the cash register. We ordered a pair of french toasts, a pancake and hash browns with some coffee. The coffee was decent, however he cooked us a big pancake and it was tasty and stomach filling at only $3.75! We paid cash (no cards accepted) and the atmosphere at this place was unique indeed. It's been operational since the 1950's. If you want to have a vintage style good food at a cheap price and you happen to go through the sandhills byway, this is a place you should stop!
