Service - our server was prompt. He took our drink order and came back with our drinks. I ordered a manhattan, which was possibly the poorest cocktail I've had. I drank it by the time he came back to take our food order and the empty glass sat there for the entire duration of our visit. I was not asked if I wanted another drink. Food - we both ordered a pasta dish with alfredo sauce. My chicken parm was average, the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. The pasta was done well. Portions were avarage to small. Overall - we walked in about 8:00 as most people were finishing. By 8:30 the entire restaurant was empty. On a Saturday night. That told me about all I needed to know. If you are only turning one table at night, there is something to be said for that. With better choices in Norfolk, I don't see a reason to return.

Go to this place for really good food. It was fresh and delicious. I had the Beefeater and my wife had the Avacado Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The bathrooms were very clean and that is a good sign for a good eatery.

This is a revision of my last review, which was pretty critical. This time our service was beyond excellent, with a knowledgeable and personable server - female, I might add. The food was properly prepared - I had the Avocado roll appetizer as my entree, my husband had a steak and declared it delicious, and his accompanying salad and potatoes were also very good and fresh. The place was jumping due to a comedy show at a close venue, so the servers and bar tenders, and the chefs were challenged, but they pulled it off very well. WE WILL BE BACK!

The service here is good. The prime rib is terrible. Flavorless small portion of gristle and fat. It's price is atrocious also for what it is, and whoever is cutting it should maybe try a little harder at knowing rare-ness and size. Our entire table ordered it and boy were we disappointed in the size for the cost. Also, a hunk of bread might be good with a $38 plate of food. Also, places that serve dried up old kraft mac n cheese to children for $8 should be punished! There are way better options from suppliers out there for children's foods!! Do better with that, too. We love the fish, but also the coleslaw could use some work!
