20 years ago, some fellow otr drivers were on a layover waiting to load at the steel mill. Here, at this local small town bar, my now best friend and brother drank till it closed. Great service! They had dollar bills hung on the wall signed (I believe) from travelers near and far. Somewhere on those hallowed walls is a lone blue $5 canadian bill with our signed names engraved in history. We hope to return someday.

We traveled 3.5 hours, called around to several bars looking for a place specifically to stream an Indiana Fever game tonight, we were shot down! The Mint was right on top of it!!! Game was 2 hours, we stayed for 6 easy! So much fun! We have plans to go back again tomorrow

Cool historic bar with lots of space which is nice to go out and not feel quite as overwhelmed. They also host local drag shows and it’s amazing to see the LGBTQ+ community be supported in this area. Also, staff is really good!

I was told I would be kicked out for kissing my wife. We were having a relationship conversation and we kisses 3 times in a row, no making out, no tongue. Simple kisses... nothing intimate... And the bar tender told us to stop or we would be asked to leave.I am disgusted. We did nothing wrong and were treated poorly so we left. Will never go backWish Ty was here
