This used to be our favorite place to eat in the entire northeast Nebraska area, but the food and service have unfortunately declined in recent years. Dirty, frayed menus, crunchy overcooked rice, poorly cut and assembled rolls, undercooked foods (not from the sushi / sashimi menu), stained and dirty dishes, badly mixed lemonade, inconsistent service, and general uncleanliness of the decor and surfaces (including a stained ceiling and peeling front door and stained bar) are now the rule instead of the exception. We hesitate to touch anything inside. Even the chicken in the udon soup we recently ordered was flavorless. We will sadly be skipping eating in this establishment for the foreseeable future and ordering takeout of only select items. We would gently encourage franchise owner intervention with this location, and we hope with time and improvement we can return.

Pretty disappointed in our experience. Server did not come back even one time to check on our drinks. They were not busy!!! Food did not have Alot of flavor from the hibachi. They automatically added 20 percent tip to my bill for a party of six ...and our service was so terrible I never would have given a 20 percent tip!!! Worst Hibachi experience ever. We had sushi as well which was sub parr. The server even asked us if we wanted our salad and soup or if we were just going to "pass"? So odd.

We used to live in Norfolk and Sakura was one of my favorites. We make sure to stop every time we are visiting town. Their sushi and hibachi is delicious. Staff is also always friendly.

I only tried the spicy edamame and clear broth soup. The edamame wasn't as good as in Lawrence, but I would get it again. The broth soup was surprisingly flavorful despite there not being more than one sliver of a mushroom and no onions. I will try some of their meals because it smells amazing in the restaurant.
Came in for lunch and ordered a variety. Loved every bite! Will absolutely be back again!

My last couple of visits have made me sad knowing how downhill this restaurant has gone. Once my favorite but recently a lot of the food has been sloppy it really has been a hit or miss lately. Waiters are always friendly but service is often slow on not so busy days. The ambiance hasn't change since it opened and I love that aspect of it.
