Great patty melt, best ever!
im from elkhorn and went there for the car show today and went to this place to get out of the heat! Linda the owner was an amazing lady! she made me feel at home! the food and service was great! I will definitely be back!
A couple of friends and I were looking for something fun to do on our Saturday night, so we decided to make the commute to North Bend after seeing that it was one of the few bars open that night in the Wahoo area that we hadn’t been to before. We arrived around 10:00pm, and we greeted warmly by the owner Lynda Cerny, and later her husband Tom. Despite it being so late, we were invited to order food and drinks, and so we had to oblige! The menu was similar to that of a typical bar. We had our choice of a variety of burgers (with the Mornin After Burger being the most interesting option with its combination of cheese, bacon, a fried egg, an onion ring, and the option of jelly or barbeque sauce), club or chicken sandwiches, Phillies, soups and salads, and a range of appetizers including pickle fries, bloomin onion chips, corn nuggets, and mini tacos as a few of their specialties. On Tuesdays a hamburger and fries cost just six bucks, and on Thursdays, a spread of Tex-Mex food is offered to patrons.I asked Lynda for her recommendation, and she had me try her Beef Philly, which I can honestly say was one of the best I’ve ever had. My sandwich consisted of a soft, warm bun from Rotella’s Bakery, packed with tender beef, and the perfect amount of cheese and peppers. To the side I tried the bloomin onion chips, which were or less onion rings but in a “fry” cut. My travel companions tried some of the restaurant’s chicken strips, waffle fries, and onion rings, all of which were also cooked to perfection.I have to say, of all the eateries of been to, this one struck me as particularly interesting because of its décor and entertainment options. In one corner of the restaurant is the bar and an extensive collection of drinks to choose from, and directly across from it is a coffee shop where one can order lattes, smoothies, frappes, and other tasty drinks. Televisions are spread throughout the establishment playing sports games, a couple of slot machines invite glow in another corner, and a pool table invites players to test their luck at a game of billiards (which we did, and we all went 1-1 for the night)! There are couches spread out in a lounge area between the bar, coffee bar, and pool table for patrons to hang out and conversate in front of a fireplace. Next door is the couple’s flower shop, which offers arrangements for a variety of local events! It’s clear that Lynda and Tom have put extensive work into making the restaurant what it is today. After several months of cleaning, renovating, and other improvements, Brews in the Bend is now a highlight of the North Bend community and a fun one-stop shop for residents and travelers to kick back and relax. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality and for allowing us to hang out until midnight! We’re super excited to make a return trip in the future.

Did not go there we were at vfw next door
Most definitely, a one star at best
Easy place for food. I recommend the burgers and they always have craft beer on hand. They have a kid's nook as well which is fun for them and easy for us!
Kid-friendliness: To have a kid's nook that is great to keep the kids busy while you enjoy eating.
