Fantastic, super, stupendous and just a few words that I think of since Ive been here. We drove out 1,300 miles to visit family and was suggested to try this cafe. We were not disappointed! Service and food was excellent! We had French toast and ham and cheese omelette, wow! Large plates were filled with food. So this is by far an excellent choice for any age!

We stopped into Memories Café while in town for a business meeting, and wow—what an incredible spot! Betsy was absolutely fantastic, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional, and the café itself is so quaint and charming. You can tell they put their heart and soul into making this place special, and it truly shows.
If you’re traveling through Oakland, do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast or lunch—you won’t be disappointed! Plus, they offer free Wi-Fi, so if you need a cozy spot to get some work done, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy and clean cafe with good food and friendly staff. Salad bar is really good. The pork sandwich is huge!
A must stop if in Oakland! I am so grateful for this cafe! I called from the Ashland area to have a stack of pancakes delivered to the school as a surprised birthday gift to a past teacher & coach. I knew it was a big ask but the staff was wonderful and more than willing to help me out. I have always loved Memories and I’m so glad it has continued to be in such good hands!
