I usually love stopping at small-town bars like this, but the timing didn't work out today. I arrived at 1:12 PM hoping for lunch, only to find the kitchen had closed at 1:00 PM. It was a bit tough to see fresh food being delivered to the table next to me while being told no, especially since many local spots are usually happy to whip something simple up to keep a customer around.
