“I stumbled on this place while working in the area. Liked it so much that when I flew my wife in from Kentucky for our Anniversary on Valentines Day we chose this as our celebration spot. The staff is exceptional, the food is excellent, and the drinks are out of this world. There are three businesses in here that all work in harmony. The Dirty Hands Taphouse and Coffee also sells the Handlbend Copper Mule Mugs/Cups and Twig Flower and Gift in the same building does wonderful arrangements. They have the best Reuben at dirty hands I’ve ever had and I’ve had them all over the country. Their Fruit Mules are awesome as well as the Mushroom Coffee. The ambience and decor is super cool too. If you’re ever in O’Neill area, this is the best thing in town. Really Cool!”

“My sister, sister-in-law and I enjoyed the best breakfast we have had in a long time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and coffee refills were free and often. I had blueberry pancakes, 2 of them, and was warned by my waiter that they were "really big." (I had no idea what that really meant.) When she brought our food, she set a big bottle of syrup and a large dinner plate in front of me with two huge, very fluffy and fully loaded blueberry pancakes. They were so big they actually hung over the edge of the plate. I ate most of it right there, but took the rest with me in a to-go box. The price was good, too, and the waiter was super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant is what I would call "relaxed country." There was country decor and the chairs at the table were comfortable. The place was extremely clean and tidy, and I am looking forward to going back again on my next visit to Nebraska.”

Before and after the stresses of dealing with split custody and a battle Royal with an over dramatic opposing parent, I can stop on my 6&1/2 hour road trip every other weekend and breathe for a minute with colorful people and wonderful bartenders and remember the luxuries of small town living and good company all around myself... No history, everything here got eraced by the american culture of there being no culture. This is enought for me to feel grounded and grateful for the ground beneath my feet.”
