Great place to stop! I had awesome prime rib and my waitress was very good (Katrina)! Would definitely recommend and already have! Can’t wait to go back

Stopped in because the google reviews said it was good food for cheap. Regretfully the food was neither good nor cheap for the quality. Paid 18$ not including tip for the mushroom burger which was extremely dry & fries. No flavor whatsoever added to the burger not even sauce (which on a mushroom burger i wouldn't expect condiments sauce but when the burger you just paid 18$ is absolutely tasteless then you'd at least expect an attempt)
My toss up was between stopping at Casey's gas station for food or this place and I should've just gone to Casey's. Cheaper and more flavor in their sandwiches.
The staff was friendly and professional although it took them about 10 minutes to realize my drink was empty where 4 staff members were present and only a handful of diners. The bar server who took my order was more fixated on a conversation with another diner (yes im aware that i can request a refill. I've been a server too, it's good practice even when talking to check on your diners) I still left a generous tip given the experience but I wouldn't recommend this place for the food if what i had is what is normal service & quality.

I highly recommend this tavern! We all ordered something different and it was all really good! My 8 oz sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The greens in the salad bar were fresh! Loved the choice of mixed greens or iceberg. Reasonably priced. Kid friendly.

We were on a golfing trip through Nebraska. Stopped in Ord. Had the best meal of the trip. We both had steaks and they were great as were the sides. Not many people there, but plenty of help.

Place is clean. Steak was cooked right. I read many reviews on the salad bar is amazing.... It not bad, definitely nothing special. Could have had some more options for toppings instead of 6 variations of pasta salad. Drinks are mid range price. Service was a bit lackluster.
The steaks are gristle and extremely tough.

Event Specialists Plus
We are in town for a little while and have come here for dinner, brunch, and now a weekend evening and it has been great every time. We are especially impressed with Emma and the staff for the extra care they show in their service to their guests. Awesome atmosphere ?
