I had a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on a bagel—it was hot, fresh, and packed with plenty of bacon. Great value for the price! My wife tried the lemon bar and said it was the best she's ever had. The pastries were super fresh, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Gathering Grounds for a tasty breakfast or a sweet treat!”

“Great place for fresh hot bone in chicken and pleasant service. Stopped for lunch while traveling across Iowa. \n\nWe ordered the 2 piece bone in combos - one with thigh, leg and green beans and the other with breast, leg and potatoes with gravy. The chicken was hot out of the fryer and done perfectly with crispy (not overdone) breading and juicy tender insides. The green beans had bits of bacon and were good and the mashed potatoes with brown gravy were smooth and warm. The biscuits are honey glazed and were warm and flaky. \n\nThe meal, the service and the price were great. They offer individual pieces, tenders, and specials and the side options all looked great - Mac and cheese, potato wedges, green beans or mashed potatoes with gravy.”

“Little tasting room. The owner was so nice and welcoming. He allowed me to sample his wines at no extra cost, but I did buy bottles of wine from him and also a glass of wine. There was a little shop next door that you could shop while enjoying your wine.”
