Mas Chingon - Shadowlake

We love Mas Chignon! It's a really cool, contemporary restaurant and their tacos and nachos are the best I've found in Papillion. If you get the nachos, be prepared to share! I especially love their birria tacos, but honestly everything I've had here has been wonderful. And one of the best parts - $4 margs!

Out for some christmas shopping and seen this corner gem...Very inviting. Friendly service. Fantastic food!! We ordered salsa and chips (hot) and they were spot on. Fresh fried corn chips and the best green spicy salsa! Also ordered carnitas tacos with rice and beans....yuuuummy! Food was authentic, not chain restaurant food. Would definitely recommend this to friends an family. Lime on the rocks margaritas were also plus. Thank you for a wonderful experience, will definitely be back!

I went with a small group of coworkers for lunch, and we all got separate checks. I ordered the chalupa, and it came out on what looked like a used cutting board. The chalupa was so overfried I couldn't bite through it. I had to rip it off chunks using my jaw and hands together, and each bite made my jaw click. They brought out chips and salsa to our table 20mins after we sat down when they came to our table without us ordering them. Once we read our bills we noticed that we were charged for the chips and salsa we didn't order. When asked why we were charged, the server said, "We just add the price of the chips to the lowest bill."

Fast service but small ahh tacos they taste good but they are small and they were out of Queso , watermelon margaritas, and shrimp. On a Tuesday afternoon. Like what. Anyway I would say maybe come and try but don’t expect much the prices are good though and salsa and guacamole is good

The food was decent. I came in with my sports team, a party of 40, and the service bombed. They were not prepared for that many customers at one time. The food was cooked sloppy, with an occasional hair in the meal. They didn't have enough dishes to serve all of us and had to clean them in order to finish orders.

Vegetarian options: There was one dish available for vegetarians.

I LOVE THIS PLACE ! It’s my Go To after a workout. I workout at HOTWORX a few establishments down and I come in almost everyday for an afternoon cocktail or hit their happy hour 3-6 PM (which is everyday and margaritas are always $3 no matter the time ((Mint/Prickly Pear are my favorites)). They have amazing traditional food that isn’t $hit or slop on a plate. Trust me I know because I worked everything from fine dining to clubs as well as an upscale Tequila Bar with over 300 tequilas — so I know my $hit. I highly recommend all happy hour items and margaritas (which are $3 all day — also very yummy and don’t just taste like sweet and sour and gut rot… they use top shelf tequila and real ingredients in mixing their cocktails)— For all you SUNDAY FUNDAY PEEPS — It’s HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY - so come in and grab whatever your heart desires and your pocket book and pallet will thank you. The staff is fantastic! Mandy, Justin and Ci Ci are great. Due to it being in a shopping galleria the business comes in waves so it’s never consistent. Be courteous and understand that they never have a host on standby and they will greet you within a few minutes even if they are slammed !

Didn't get to try their food. I called at 8:42pm and they close at 9. I wanted to try their nachos. But they said their kitchen is closing down and they weren't taking any orders. I work in a restaurant and we take orders until our closing time. Change your close time then.

This has become our go to place for our ladies wine club after our Tuesday gathering. You can’t beat $2 taco Tues, my go to is Salmon. Great chips, salsa and margaritas, my person favorite mango with tajin. $3 margaritas every day! I also love the paella and fajita bowls, tons of food and sooo flavorful. We’ve gotten to know the GM with our visits Mandi, and she is amazing. Top notch food and service is her goal. We will continue being regulars, love our girls night dinners here.
