On a quiet Monday night, we went and had a spectacular bowl of queso fundido and tacos! The service was great, and I look forward to going back!

Our family has stopped 1 to 3 times a month at this location. It's kind of a mixed bag of service and if heating/cooling system is working or not. During a recent visit we found that the margaritas glass sizes have been cut in half, maybe more. I was told the ice percentage is much lower so it's about the same amount of margarita per glass. This is not accurate. I felt like we had the drink finished almost before the waitress left the table. That being said, we will probably not come back until we feel the main attraction ($3 margaritas) to Mas Chingon is fixed.

It's gone downhill. I've been here a few times and it was delicious. Tonight, I had the barbacoa tacos which were barely seasoned. The queso fundido was wonderful, however. The waitress messed up my friend's order. And they were out of many menu items. The waitress said that they were out of tequila, so no margaritas were available. Let that sink in.... No tequila at a Mexican restaurant. So much for happy hour. Will not be back again.

We ordered the tacos and the burrito, both were delicious! We enjoyed the authentic Mexican food. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere.

This place is no longer mexican.The order of chips is half the size of any other mexican restaurant.Tortas are just sandwiches on a french baguette super loaded with butter. Tried 4 different meats and not a single one had any seasoning whatsoever.Worst part is the “al pastor”. Just adding pineapple to pork does not make it all pastor. The key part of al pastor is the adobo sauce where the meat is marinated. This had zero adobo. Just dry flavorless pork.Also it doesn’t help that they play the music extremely loud. I literally could not listen to the person sitting in front of me. Ended up with a headache.Don’t waste your time here, unless you want flavorless non-mexican food with music loud enough to bust your eardrums.

We came here for the first time today and it was SO good! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. I got the chicken tinga quesadilla which was 10/10!! My fiance got the chicken tonga tacos and loved them as well. We also had the chips and mild salsa and we loved it. Definitely will be back!

Pretty decent place in Shadow Lake for some food! This is located next to Old Navy. I've only had the tacos here, but they're pretty tasty in my opinion. Tuesdays, they do $2 tacos. Their guacamole is nice and fresh!Service is good and restrooms are also available.

Bring me all the bowls! The bowls of chips are fresh and the right amount of salt. The bowl of guacamole was a perfect balance of avocado to extras. We chose the bowls of salsa flight. 4 tiny bowls of fresh flavors. Salsa verde and manzano were our favorites. The salsa macha was flavorful but the heat was a little too much for me. We had a bowl of ika ceviche. Great stuff! Mango and palm hearts are cut to the perfect size and join sushi grade tuna in a light sweet Valentina sauce. I believe that our server was the owner. She explained the dishes well and gave us great suggestions. Her smiles and personality made our very enjoyable lunch a perfect visit.
The restaurant is very inviting and quite ideal if you are shopping in the Shadowlake Towne Center. Ana was incredibly friendly and tentative. All of the food was extremely flavorful. Nachos could feed an army. My one knock would be that the quesadilla comes with the pico inside of it, making the bottom soggy. But still the flavor was great.

The extra time it takes for the food is worth the quality. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the food took a bit longer, but the quality was worth the extra time. The server was very friendly and ensured we knew what was on each of our dishes. I’m assuming they have a lot of cranky people complain too much about the food or service. The only downside was that we did not have enough chips to finish all the queso fundido, which is fine cause I took it home to eat with my leftover burrito.

Lol this place needs some serious help. The lady is uncouth. She struggles with proper customer service. So much happened in such little time. She greeted us by telling us “sit wherever you find a clean table” We sat all they way in the back after inspecting every table hahahhaha. We decided to leave because she sneezed and coughed into the open while cleaning cups at the bar on top of her being extremely polite and apologetic about the filthy state of the restaurant to other customers. And Yes they were.

Food was terrible my steak was raw and not cooked how I asked. Second time I went I ordered 30 minutes prior. Once I had I arrive my food was not ready at all still had too wait and finally gave up and told them I didn't want the order any longer because it hadn't even been made yet. Even though I had ordered 30 minutes prior too coming in. Over all inside the restaurant is okay not really a comfortable Place too eat at.
