Update.. we STILL love this place. They added Ramen and other new items!!! We LOVE this place! It has THE BEST sushi. The service is always amazing as well. Highly recommend!! Tokyo Monster is our favorite specialty roll but we have loved all the rolls we have tried )Mexican, Celtic, Rainbow Roll 💕

If you are in the area, please try this place when you are looking for Asian takeout. I have high standards. I dont like to wonder if my food is fresh. I dont like to feel like it was slapped together and that it's too sweet or over-sauced. Trust me. They make good food here. Mine was made with love, tasty and fresh. And I haven't eaten inside but when I went to pick up my food the atmosphere seemed nice and the employees seemed kind.

We went for lunch and arrived right at opening. The waitress was very friendly and had excellent pacing. We ordered the sashimi lunch, sushi lunch, and maki lunch. For maki we had the snow white roll, spicy crab meat roll, and California roll. Appetizer was takoyaki balls. We also had miso soup and house salad. Everything was just amazing! For dessert we ordered the mochi ice cream and tempura banana. I couldn't pick a favorite. The atmosphere was calm and warm. Above the sushi bar a tv was showing sushi chefs making beautiful and unusual dishes, which was interesting and a pleasant change from what I normally see in restaurants. It really lent to the atmosphere. The sushi chef here was focused and kept busy. Plating was lovely and portion sizes felt perfect. The prices were very reasonable. Overall a wonderful experience.

Vegetarian options: They have a whole section for veggie maki rolls with more than just cucumber.

Kid-friendliness: The did have a kids menu and I spotted plenty of foods on the normal menu that kids would enjoy. The waitress was also polite and engaging with my son.

Wheelchair accessibility: The floor plan is rather open. Tables are lined up at a long bench, but the opposite side has chairs that can easily be moved out of the way for a wheelchair user.

Best Sushi, might be my new favorite sushi place in Omaha. Can’t even decide which roll is my favorite. Specialty rolls are worth the extra few dollars for sure :)

Food was good and tasted fresh which was unexpected. Aloha roll and the the gyoza soup was good. Understaffed, Asked for fresh Wasabi, as my waitress said they had it, but I was given the gross horseradish putty, and couldnt answer any questions about the food, so I'm assuming they don't educate there staff on the menu. Probably won't come back as Umami's food is much better as well as the service.
