We had Kristen as a waitress and not only were her food recommendations phenomenal let me tell you how she really made me wake up and write this review. I came in with my friend and my newborn and once our food came she offered to hold him while we both ate! As a second time new mom I was thrilled that I could eat my meal while it was hot! She sat right next to us and just loved on my baby and let me tell you that was an amazing experience. We will be back for sure!
Came in on a busy Friday a few months ago. The person seating told us it was full and wanted to turn us away. We noticed no one was at the bar because the bar seats were filled with stacks of dirty dishes. We said we would wait to sit at the bar. They semi cleared the area and we ate amongst dirty glasses and dishes. Got the fried chicken it was so super burnt and crispy, almost black. I was so hungry and there was no check back so I just ate what I could from the dish. The bartender seemed frazzled and could not keep up with bar glasses. Servers were standing around laughing and not helping with bussing. Servers would bring dirty glasses and stand behind the bar and not help the bartender wash glassware. The same dirty glass sat in front of me from start to finish.
However the bartender was also standing around and had ample time to clear and bus but didn’t.
Maybe came in on an off night but for price I won’t be back.
Not sure what happened but there was also a party there that had a reservation mishap there was a gentleman standing with a newborn baby eating the whole time while standing. he didn’t even have a chair !! I could hear the staff snickering about it at the bar
We went there, hoping to give a local restaurant a chance and were extremely disappointed. Our reservations were at 4 PM. We got seated right away ordered right away, but it took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food.
My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese. The server came out and said they forgot about it, but remade it after 45 minutes.
We ordered four of the hamburgers and two fish dinners, and all four of the hamburgers came out incorrect
Also, please beware the hamburgers have pork shoulder and some strange seeds in it mixed in with the hamburger so make sure that you get it well done
Needless to say, we won’t be back
I also understand that it was a busy graduation weekend and Mother’s Day for this restaurant but still disappointing that it took 70 minutes to get our food
They also could not manage to keep our glasses refilled with ice since we were on the patio and it was a little warm
We were disappointed with our recent dinner experience. I ordered the scallops. The menu stated they came with squash purée, jasmine rice and cauliflower and brussels sprouts. When the plate arrived, it was scallops, edamame or some type of bean and chunks of something, probably pork. I questioned the fact that it was supposed to come with the squash and rice. The server merely stated that this was the new menu item and gave no other information. It would’ve been nice to have been told this when we ordered as this seemed to be a different flavor profile and I do not like beans/edamame. Had I been informed of the changes, I definitely would’ve made a different meal choice as the scallops were the only thing I ate on the plate.
I had just finished with work and wanted something really good to eat so I landed at this place which was a good choice. I had the JDF tacos and they were excellent. The blue corn taco shells had the right crunch not to hard, which gave the over all taco a real treat. I enjoyed every bite and I had some dessert that involved chocolate, coconut and I think a walnut crust. Very good also. What made it better was that I got there during happy hour - WINNING!!! Added to my favorites 😍
Needed a quick bite on our way to the airport and so glad we stoped here!Everything was delicious and service was amazing!
Visited for the first time and will definitely be back. It was slow as the weather was nasty however the food and service didn't disappoint. Drinks were delicious, service was professional and food was delicious, will definitely return!
My wife and I ate dinner here yesterday. She ordered the Wailea Stew and I the MahiMahi. Both were excellent but the MahiMahi was the best I've ever had. The slight charred flavor and spices made it absolutely addictive. It was so good in fact that my wife traded me. I love curry so the stew was excellent as well but I'll be ordering the MahiMahi next time. Drinks were on the pricey side but I'll be going back soon.
