My husband and I went to Pine and Black. It was busy when we were there but we did not feel dismissed. Melissa was our waitress.....she was everyone's waitress! She did not miss a beat. I visited this restaurant on Jan 3rd, 2026 and it was my first time. It was 2:00p in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet. Our server was great. I ordered the fish (cod) and chips which included coleslaw. The fish was over breaded and over cooked. It was inedible. For an upscale restaurant I definitely expected more. The kitchen should never have allowed this meal to be served.
My husband and I were in town for a concert on Saturday. We were so happy we found Pine & Black, we’ve been raving about it ever since! We have dined around the country and usually order the filet. We both ordered filets again and these were seriously in our top 3 filets anywhere. The presentation, the taste, everything was perfect. Our waitress was an absolute delight! If we make it back to town, we will definitely be back!
