“Ole's is a wonderful place for so many reasons. It is a true gem and a place I gooe always remains just as it is, just where it is. I appreciate so much that Tim has maintained the place Ole built and nurtured for so many years. Of course it has been modernized, as sadly has everything in this world today. If you look carefully with your eyes closed however, you can still see the good old boys toasting the end of Prohibition at the magnificent bar. If you listen carefully, the stories they told that night still echo through the walls. There are those that will get offended about the mounts. There are lots of other places they can dine. The mounts, the photos, the old bar signs. I love them all so much! Then there is the food. Fresh, hot and delicious. Prices are very fair, and the people are all just as friendly and genuine as you would expect to find in a small Nebraska town. Needless to say, this is not my first visit, not will it be my last. I live 250 miles from here but have eaten at Ole's dozens of times! Of you haven't been here, it os well worth a detour! And no, this review was not solicited, nor do I know any of the staff or the owners. The only thing we have in common is the love of the Midwestern lifestyle, history, wildlife, good food, and the Cornhuskers, of course!“

“Our party of seven had a great time. The food was delicious, and the kids really enjoyed walking around to see all the animals. There was a problem with one of the entrees, and management deleted the charge as well as offered a dessert (we declined). This was a great opportunity for them to display their professionalism and customer care. This is not a fast food place, so don't expect to eat in a hurry. IT IS a great place to relax and enjoy good conversation and good food. Glad we went. We'll be back again soon.“
