This place was incredible. Buddy and I were looking for a lunch place other than fast food or quick grill food and found this place on our way to Montana. The lady behind counter suggested their buffet or menu. We tried the buffet. OMG. As my buddy commented the food tasted better than what his mamma makes. And I know his mom and her food is great. This food was so flavorful and great price. The local customers were friendly. We are stopping here again on our way home.
A MUST-STOP LOCATION FOR THOSE ON I-80
2 MINUTES FROM THE INTERSTATE IF EVEN THAT
I have been coming to the Windy Gap once a year when visiting from Texas for 21 years. 8 years ago I moved to Nebraska and make it a point to hit The Windy Gap AND ONLY The Windy Gap on my way out west.
The last time I went was earlier this August in 2024 , en route to see The Darts play in Scottsbluff.
