Ok, maybe it is a dive bar in a college town. But the catfish nuggets are delicious! Good taco salad, too. They have carp too if that is your preference. Also decent burgers, chicken strips, etc. But worth the drive on Friday night for catfish nuggets!
Small town dive bar vibe. The food was surprisingly good. The tenderloin was better than the ones I get in Omaha! My friends all got different burgers and they said they were good too. The place was cluttered and run down but the wait staff and bartenders were friendly. Peru, NE is a strange little town but it was fun to explore.
My fourth trip for Friday Night fish, Cod for the third time, which is excellent. There is also a good selection of draught beer. Peru is a college town, but it is definitely not a student bar. Zach’s is a worthwhile stop
