We like to do road trips and stop at “off the beaten path” places for a meal. WOW! Winchester Saloon is truly a gem. Delicious food, excellent waitress, cold beer, and just an all around cool place. We will most definitely be back soon!

This was our first ever visit and we were blown away! Staff was super friendly and attentive even with the busy crowd and the food was great! We had the jap melt and swiss and mushroom burgers all amazing. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and cheese curds omg you have to try the cheese curds! We will be back again!
SOOOO EXCITED to find this gem! Great service! Wonderful atmosphere! We have zero good restaurants in Grand Island, in my humble opinion! Other than the obvious chains! We will be back there probably once a week! Reminds me of Western Nebraska hospitality!

So glad Winchesters is back in business after many years closed.
Has the absolute worst manager I’ve ever seen. When called to a table, as a “bar manager”, you should be polite and ready to listen. But NOPE! Katie had an attitude from the first second she walked up to our table. Problem still was not resolved. Cheyenne (our server) was so kind and empathetic. She did more than the bar manager did. Most of the other servers kept going to Cheyenne and asking her questions, on how to do THEIR jobs. Kind of ironic how most of the employees don’t even live in Phillips.. You’d think in a small town, more people would want to work instead of commuting to work. The food and atmosphere are very nice, but the bar manager needs to go.
