This place was amazing. Fried food that wasn’t greasy. I’ll make the drive back down from Omaha again for sure!

We ordered a full rack of ribs and an extra side; it easily fed three people. Check out the Sidewinder Fries and their Mac 'n Cheese. I don't remember what they called it, but it had sliced jalepeños in it. The food was very good and so was the service. We were there for lunch on a Friday around 12:30pm and there were only a few other tables occupied. We will return!

The cook who awnsered the phone when i called to place an order was extremely rude. Very unprofessional, food is very meh. Rate 2-10 would not recomend eating here you may or may not regret your decision lol. I know i did./ fyi they will take 45 mins plus to get out your order. And when they reply to a negative review they completely disregard why they are getting that negative review... check your workers not the customer.

This is a hidden gem! Attached to the VFW in Plattsmouth, the gals running this diner are doing a great job! Loved all of the homemade dessert options! Brisket was so good, tender enough to cut with a fork. We will definitely return!

Came down for the car show last night and as we were walking back to our car we were discussing what to do for dinner and noticed the back alley diner. They were extremely busy but we took a seat and ordered the Friday special (Steak Philly w/ fries and Cole slaw). Staff and servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Nothing fancy about this place at all. It's just plain good cooking. Friendly staff and good food. This is what small town Americana is all about. Easy to get to from Bellevue and Omaha, and worth the trip.

Excellent burgers and unique delicious fries! Staff always friendly. It does take some time to get your food, so order ahead. Worth the wait.

We had been missing our southern crawfish boils being from Louisiana and moving up here to the Midwest, but this little diner at the back of the VFW in Plattsmouth was surely worth the trip. We were pleasantly surprised with their flavor of the crawfish. It was pretty close to what we find in Louisiana. This really hit the spot and we didn’t mind the price. The pictures was 8 pounds between the 3 of us and we could have easily polished off 15. They were juicy and flavorful. They were good sized mud bugs. It’s best to preorder and get a table reservation if possible, but you can also get it to-go. Their other options are pretty excellent and the cook pours his heart into his food for sure. The staff is friendly. It may take a little bit to get your food if they’re busy, but it is definitely worth the wait.

We finally stopped in to try their food (well, we did have their brisket dinner for a VFW event and it was wonderful). I am all about "getting your money's worth", but it also has to be great. We started off with fried mushrooms and spicy fried pickles. The mushrooms were really good, but the spicy pickles were out of this world! They were a lot of fun to eat. They are not necessarily spears either...more like fries. Word of warning...if you get these for yourself, choose your main course wisely as there are a LOT of pickle fries. Before I get to what I ordered for my meal, I would like to point out that service is just as important, if not more so, as the food. Sarah was our server. As I was not familiar with their food I had a lot of questions and Sarah had a lot of answers...great answers. Ever have one of those servers that knows the perfect balance of being attentive but not annoying? I know it hardly ever happens, but Sarah is one of those. She was awesome! Okay, for the main meal. Gina had a double cheeseburger and I had the nachos. The burger was huge, Gina said she probably have had the single. The nachos were freaking ridiculous! and delicious! I will have to admit, they are not afraid of piling on the toppings. The meat actually had great flavor as opposed to the typical 1/2 teaspoon of unseasoned ground beef, and a lot of it. Needless to say, I came nowhere close to finishing off my food. I look forward to my next food adventure with them. Thank you for a great meal.

The sliced brisket is amazing. It doesn't need any sauces.

These ladies catered my mother’s 90th Birthday party for around 100 people. Everyone loved the food! They kept the serving dishes full and the food hot. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!!

Great food, a lot of options. This is a family run restaurant and they are awesome! Bathroom was not the cleanest and the decor is outdated but I recommend it. Definitely small town vibes.
