I showed up into town late just before close and Robin didn’t care, happily seated me, was enjoyable and pleasant. The food was good nothing fancy or over the top, but good. Served hot and with a smile. I’d easily go back the next time I roll through on my way to or from.

This place is horrible!!! The service is the worst. The owner/ server is soooo rude and has absolutely no personality. The food is mediocre at best. The decor is super tacky and should be in a basement, not a restaurant. I highly recommend staying away from this place at all costs!!!

Wanted to help redeem some of the earlier poor posts. This is a perfectly acceptable little restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Was a little surprised that it didn't come with lettuce and tomato but the hash browns insteadof fries were a nice surprise. My friend ordered the surf and turf special. Steak was cooked as ordered and had nice flavor.

This was possibly one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever experienced and we travel A LOT! We lived in Red Cloud and frequented The Palace almost 30 years ago and it was a great place then. Traveling through, we stopped in and were “greeted” —told to sit at any place we could find something clean—by an extremely rude woman. She was exceptionally rude throughout the entire experience! Couldn’t even give us enough menus-had to share-when she came back and told us if we didn’t put our order in it would be a long time before we got food—sharing a menu, we hadn’t had time to really decide, rolled her eyes when asked questions. Slammed things on the table as she ran by. Got our order wrong but flopped our plates down on the table and ran away so quickly we couldn’t even mention it to her. We were not the only ones to experience this treatment-she spent the entire time yelling at customers, rolling her eyes at any question, and just generally being rude. The food was ok—a bit flavorless but did come out fairly quickly and the prices were relatively reasonable but we were informed by another patron that our server was one of the owners…she should really work on her customer service skills and general manners if she wants to remain in business long!

My hamburger was cold and undercooked, my onion rings were smashed into the to go box and the coating of the onion rings crumbled off. Highly disappointed.
Friendly, home town eatery. Had the ribeye, and boy was it tasty! In from out of town and wanted a good meal... success!

Food was good, service was even better. Was expecting an old school bar & grill but the inside is decorated with a lot of guitars and rock band memorabilia that doesn't really fit the outside appearance. Needs to go back to the old school bar & grill look, but it was clean.
