We went there on Sunday 7/6 and were told it would be a while for our food. Just two of us. We only ordered hamburger and fries with an appetizer. However another table of 8 came in and placed their order after we did and got the food before we did. At one time we were told they were waiting on our fries - which were barely warm when we got them. Our appetizer came after we got our meals. The only thing that was hot. Mediocre hamburgers. Very disappointed. Waited at least 45 minutes for our food.

Bar on edge of river. Service was very bad. Brought us drinks and menus but never got around to taking our food order. More concerned with talking to some friends at one of the tables. Paid for or drinks and left. Won’t be back.

The catfish filet was the best I have ever had. The steak/plank fries were so yummy. Live music and great location by the Missouri River. The salad bar is always fresh and fantastic! This is a must stop if in the area, or well worth a nice drive in the country for great lunch or dinner. The service was quick, polite and attractive.

Very slow service. Took over a hour to get food after ordered. And that was with 6 empty tables. So they were not that busy.
In general the food is great. Always friendly service. Come in during duck season. Heck, last year buddy and I showed up later. The kitchen just closed but the cook made us a few appetizers. The sausage and gravy in the morning is excellent. I've gotten the rueben in other years but this go round it was lacking in the meat serving. The string onion rings were a little off. Corn nuggets were great. Looked at my buddies prime rib and he said it was excellent. He gave my dog some of the fat and the dog agreed. I'm just always leary getting a good piece of meat at a bar. I'm spoiled. My mom worked at Johnny's Cafe Steakhouse for 30 years.
