Restaurant was clean, staff was ok, food was a little disappointing. We were there a little later in the evening , and got burgers that had been in the steamer pan quite awhile. (I used to work fast food, when you know you know.)
Runza's is consistently good, but never great. I never regret going their, but never my first choice if given options. The staff was friendly, being completely honest, the runzas are not the best menu items. I prefer their burgers (which are surprisingly really good) and my kids prefer their chicken fingers. Overall it is a good fast food joint and a nebraska staple, so it is a worthy place to eat.
Their fries are just how I like them. Golden brown with a touch of salt fresh out of the fryer. Burgers can't be beat!! Fresh made patties cooked perfectly with a slice of cheese, pickles, ketchup, onions, and mustard. On a fresh bun!!! Mmmm, good!!! Top it all off with an ice cream sandwich. It's the best!!!
