We lived there in St. Paul back in 2008 to 2011. The Sweet Shoppe was then and still is, our favorite place. There's always a smile and top quality service and the best food to be had, ever. The baked goods were the greatest. And the Cookie Jar collection is the largest ever seen.

Thank you for being open. Had your plain waffle. Very good and came out hot. Also the breakfast burrito. Only comment was that sausage wad large chunks. Flavor of excellent. Quiet friendly atmosphere.

Highly recommend for good home cooking. We met in St Paul for lunch with the in-laws. My husband and I ordered the buffet which included an amazing salad bar and tater tot casserole. The rest of our party ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch items. Everyone was very impressed with their food. Hot,Fresh, and Delicious!! Their bread reminds me of my husbands grandmas farm bread!

I went in for breakfast. Waitress was friendly and brought water/coffee right away. I had my food in about 10 minutes after ordering. I asked for crispy hashbrowns and they were perfect. Great breakfast!

Small town Family Cafe at it's finest! My chicken fried steak/ gravy with crisp hasbrowns & 2 easy over eggs was made to perfection and my husband's meatlovers omelet was loaded! Both of us are bursting at the seams! The wait staff had large smiles & excellent service.Kid-friendliness: Everyone fits in here!

The wait time between ordering and food being brought to the table is astonishingly ridiculous. Food is okay, nothing to brag about. Can’t tell if I liked the food or was just starving from waiting so long. Hope they work on this as they seem very busy. You could read the faces of others who are still waiting for their food.
