Applebee's Grill + Bar

My Applebee’s visit was a disaster. The service was great, but the cook botched it multiple times. I ordered a medium rare steak, got one so rare it was practically alive, and they even cut it in half—thought it was a joke by the third attempt. The charge was wrong too; they can’t seem to do math. If you go, skip the steak and try anything else on the menu. Never coming here again!

I really enjoyed the chicken egg roll tacos, on appetizer menu. We also ordered a beef dipper sandwich, which tasted ok, but was extremely messy as the meat slipped out if the bun with every bite, and you had to fix it before the next bite. Maybe because of the mayo/sauce on it and the texture of the bun (too smooth?).

I found this location a little dirty looking (floors and carpets) and in need of some repairs (seat near mine is in photo for example), I haven't seen this at Applebee's in other states, during my frequent visits. Music a bit loud, especially with only about 10 customers dining when we were there, no need to make it difficult for them to hear each other.

Again, our Server was great and kudos to the appetizer!!

My wife got food poisoning there and manager took all my information but haven’t heard anything from main office yet

Waited 2 hours for 2 burgers and 2 kids meals, recieved food that was not cooked to order- ordered without cheese. Worst food and experience. Never returning.

Slow service by the bartender

Had a great lunch date with my 8 year old granddaughter. Service was great and food was perfect.

It was incredibly slow it took a hour and 15 minutes just to get some frozen mozzarella sticks as a appetizer and 3 entrees and our waiter never even picked up our appetizer plates or our empty cups and it was 30 minutes just to get an appetizer overall it was pretty bad I would give 1.8 stars

I can always count on pretty good quality at an Applebee's. Its a Sports Bar, tho and kind of loud. We had salads and I had to pick thru it to get the lettuce w/black spots out.

Ordered with door dash. Horrible food! Ordered 2 drinks and received same size as the kid meal size. Kids chocolate milk had ice in it. Burger awful For $15. Disgusting. Chicken and Shrimp still cold, mights ans well drink oil out of the bottle it had so much in the container with food…All tasted bad. Cheese on kids pizza wasn’t even fully melted.

Stopped in at the Scottsbluff Applebee’s while passing through western Nebraska, and I was honestly impressed. From the get-go, the service stood out—John was especially great. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and checked in just enough without hovering. He’s the kind of guy who makes you feel welcome, whether you’re local or just passing through.

Ordering was smooth and quick—I’d give the order time a solid 4.5 out of 5. My order was taken promptly, and even though there was a little bit of a wait before the food came out, it wasn’t anything major.

Now let’s talk food:
• The burger was on the smaller side, sure—but what it lacked in size, it made up for in flavor. Juicy, well-cooked, with the bun toasted just right. Honestly, mmm.
• The fries were fine, nothing to write home about—kind of bland, could use a bit more seasoning—but still warm and crispy.

The atmosphere was relaxed, clean, and had that small-town Nebraska charm. Folks were friendly, and the vibe was laid-back without being slow. You could tell it’s a regular spot for a lot of locals, and it’s easy to see why.

If you’re in the Scottsbluff–Gering area and want something familiar but dependable, this Applebee’s is a solid pick. It’s not fancy, but it’s good food, good service, and good people. Would absolutely stop in again.

The host was very rude that was on July 3rd between 5:00 and 5: 30pm me and my husband went to Applebee's in Scottsbluff she was very rude gave us dirty looks she definitely does not need to be a host!!! the waitress we had that just started was very nice!!!! then after getting dirty looks from the host!!! Then they mess up our order and that's why I'm only giving one star that's because of the host !!!...then I did not want to sit where the host put us and she didn't care and just walked away she was very rude!!!!!! No smile on her face and definitely did not feel welcome... And that is one star for service because of the host.... And I put two stars for the atmosphere because I did not want to sit where she put us there was tables up on the higher balcony
. She could have put it somewhere else there was plenty of tables... We are the customers I thought 🤔...

Just had dinner on a Saturday at 5pm. 2 kids and 2 adults. In and out within about an hour, which was nice with kids. Problem is when we got out food, we were never given napkins or silverware. Difficult to eat some stuff without it. Never got offered refills on drinks. I got the all you can eat chicken tenders, server never came back until we were ready to leave so could never order more. Fries were the worst I’ve ever had, very stale and obviously reheated. $16 for 6 chicken fingers and a cup of coleslaw I couldn’t eat because I had no silverware. Won’t be going back.
