Great food, pretty good prices. The taller female server should really start writing orders down because 4/5 times she's getting orders wrong. Wife won't say anything due to enjoying the food regardless so while not a huge deal is starting to get annoying when it happens so often. Ask bout refills abit more often is my only other critique. Love coming here anyway and will continue to do so.
We haven't tried this restaurant since it open up under their new name. We were ready for something different in the Scottsbluff area. Mexican restaurants pay attention to service and I like that. I ordered the Super Burrito with steak; came sizzling on cast iron with grilled peppers. It was the entree and I didn't need rice and beans to full me up. The tall order of beer looked to be 32 oz. The menu had all the plates pictured.
Love El Rancho Viejo. Food is excellent, maybe a little salty and salsa could be spicier but otherwise perfect. My favorite dish is the Jalisco and my kids like the Chicken and Rice. There's always a margarita special. Kids meals are $8 and the regular meals are all about $15. Well worth it, best Mexican in Scottsbluff.
