Been to Sonic’s here in Scottsbluff 3 times now. The first time was great! But then things changed. The second time we were excited to try the Big Dill meal. All the signs for the pull up stalls were pulled, there was something in the doorway that looked like carpet and bags of trash, we proceeded to the drive through and it was closed. This was mid day. Third time was today. 8/18/2025. We went for the big dill meal. We get told we don’t have a cook right now could you wait for 30 minutes. Our answer was a loud but not rude no. I don’t know if I want to even try back at Sonic’s again. I really want to try the big dill mean, I am a pickle fan. But if this is going to be an ongoing issue it’s a waste of of time to even try. This sonics sucks. I don’t think service is ever going to change at this store from the looks of it after reading all these other reviews and realizing they are all very close to the same issues to what we are dealing with. If gas was cheap I’d travel three hours back to my hometown and get what I want from that sonics. At least they know how to run a store properly.

They’re service is extremely bad showed up for thirty minutes left came back 2 hours later and still didn’t get any service until we had to order at the window we left after another 45 minutes without an order taken do not recommend spend your time elsewhere

If I could give zero stars, or negative stars I would. Burnt cold food, the workers in dirty street clothes... no uniforms. Just a really ran down joke of a place.

What is going on with this place? Burgers and drive up ordering are what Sonic is known for, but both have been in and out of service for months. How can the franchisee not afford to fix this? They're on the busiest street in town?

Pulled up, looked like a ghost town which should have been a sign. Most of the order screens dont work. Ordered toaster sandwich that took them 10 minutes to bring out (even though there were no other customers) the bread wasn't toasted at all, eggs and bacon dry like it been sitting there for hours. Burrito was so skinny it looked like a rolled up tortilla. No complimentary breath mint either. Waste of time and money.
This place needs more employees and a franchisee who is willing to invest some money into maintaining the property. I ordered a double sonic meal at one of the drive-in spots and the person taking my order had to ask me to repeat myself several times because they could not hear me. After placing my order (it was still wrong when he repeated it to me the fourth time and I just gave up trying to correct him), I waited 25 minutes and still had not received my food, but two vehicles had gone through the drive-through and received their food, so I just left.
The screens on the menu boards were turned off and so were the credit card readers, which just makes paying for your food that much more of a hassle because they have to take your card inside and bring it back out to you. It looked like there was only one or two people in the kitchen from what I could see, but I can’t comment on the quality of the food since I got tired of waiting and went to Burger King instead.

The wait time was ridiculously long. My wife actually got out of the car and walked next door to Taco John's and ordered and had food back at the car before we ever made it to the drive thru speaker.

Skip this place for sure! Stopped by tonight to get some dinner and wish we would have kept driving! Pulled in to the outdoor order stall- apparently they don’t work…no signs and when you push the button nothing happens. Some screens are lit up, some aren’t. Apparently the cars parked in the front ones belong to the employees. Ok..we will go through the drive thru. Sign on the drive thru speaker is hardly legible but says to say “hello” loudly because the sensor is broken. We do that and the speaker is so loud you can hardly hear what is being said..but apparently they can’t hear what is being said because I had to repeat everything multiple times. Finally got the order put in- I guess- there is no screen or way to tell.
Pull around and a young lady who was just in street clothes gives us our total and shuts the window. We wait about 5 minutes and our comes the food. She hands it to me, I say thank you, she says nothing and closes the window. Rude.
Food was nothing special- not horrible- just average. Our two drinks were ok- again just normal. We will not be back.

Waited 13 minutes in drive thru behind 1 car, only ordered drinks. A guy finally came out and had just one drink we informed him we ordered 2 and he went back in , were still in line now it's been 18 minutes, he never came back out. We left. Who knows how long the car in front of us was there. Don't stop here for drinks when passing through, go to Dairy Queen, we were behind 5 cars and we're out of there in 6 minutes.

Most disorganized Sonic ever. Took forever to get our order. Charged us wrong (to our advantage) the gal was working both the window and bringing food out. Slammed the window on us when we mentioned an error in our order. Management needs to address this and get some customer service training for the employees or get competent staff

Can't buy bagged ice here like you can the other Sonics, maybe just lazy and dont wanna make the bags cause this is the 2nd time I've been there 1st time I was told they were working on the machine that was 2 weeks ago

Timing is being a problem with the "fast food" franchise. Every time we go there, they mess up the order. Hope they get better.

I can order a steak at a sit down restaurant and be done eating in the time it takes these guys to finish a sandwich and a drink
