Great downtown location in the historic district of Sidney. Parking was available on the street. The location was not very busy. We arrived and seated ourselves since no one greeted us. The seating was comfortable and clean. A Server approached us and, while friendly and efficient, was very matter-of-fact and didn't really make any suggestions or have any feedback on the menu. The menus were in pretty rough shape.
Our food was good, but not great, with the burger being better than the chicken strips, which were over-fried and seemed to have the taste of older oil. The fries were very good.
The overall establishment could be much cleaner, including the bathrooms and the nooks and crannies that are not very obvious.

Found this little gem while traveling across Nebraska. You would have to drive just a couple miles off the freeway to downtown Sydney. But the burgers are definitely worth the extra five minutes of time! The place is very clean and the service people were excellent! Prices are great and the double cheeseburger was delicious!!

Don’t let the dive bar aesthetic fool you, the food is great, large portions, good prices!
We were passing through Sidney on our home back to Virginia when we decided to stop and get some grub. We stumbled upon the Silver Dollar Bar & Grill and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us like we were one of the regulars. We loved the atmosphere, the beer was cold and the food was delicious. If we ever find ourselves back in Sidney we will definitely be back.

The people working the night we landed in town we're just about to close. They went above and beyond, let us in instead of going home after a long day Im sure and cooked us some great burgers and we played some pool. A big thank you to both of the people working that night for helping us out. We thought it was beyond nice and we appreciated the customer service. You just don't see that too much!
