Chatterbox is the best restaurant in Nebraska. From out of state - I stop at Chatterbox every chance I get when visiting family in NE Nebraska. Better than anything in Omaha or the rest of the state. Love the food - clean ingredients! Love the service and the atmosphere. Just perfect! Chatterbox is fantastic!

Food and atmosphere were good service was not good they had one big party come in just before us but not many more waited over 1hr for food with no communication about delays and then ran out of one of things we ordered and had to change

We thought we'd take a Saturday spin up North and landed at Chatterbox. We were not greeted immediately and got the feeling like we were intruding. The waitress was more attentive but overall it was just a so so experience for a Saturday Eve. We left w/o a goodbye. Too bad, because it's cute and probably great for the Regulars who are welcome.
Oh, and the grits are just weird. Sorry.

7 of us rode 45 minutes just to eat here. We arrived inside and seated at 635. It didn't appear to be all that busy. Drinks were child size and the menu was very limited. 1 appetizer was ordered. Half ordered a salad, other half was the chicken sandwiches. The appetizer came maybe 5 minutes before the salads were brought out, which were not correct, and the chicken on the salad was cold. The salads were barely over a dinner salad size with 1 single cherry tomato cut in half. The rest came out several minutes later at 805. Instead of the 3 chicken sandwiches we ordered only 2 came out, and 1 burger. We took it anyway, since it had been an hour and a half. The fries were overcooked, and the burger under cooked. The table behind us, with at least 2-3 times larger, came in much later than us, and received their apps and drinks very quickly. The waitress did apologize multiple times and said she would send dessert to the whole table, and gave us our tickets. 1 ticket was charged for an extra drink, and the appetizer was charged incorrectly, which was not even pointed out because we were so annoyed. One, one single dessert was put on the table for all 7 of us to share. Which gave us all a single bite. We all left at 830 disappeared, with some still hungry. The portions were smaller than anywhere we had ever been. We pick a different town and restraunt a few weeks a month, an normally have a much larger crowd. Disappointing to say the least. We won't be coming back, which is unfortunate since we can bring so much business.

Fun and eclectic with an outdoor space. Tucked away in Tekemah where the clientele know one another. The steak bites were amazing- I highly recommend them. I look forward to a visit at the speakeasy across the street!

Kid-friendliness: Open area. Very family friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Single level. Appeared accessible.

The only thing comparable to the food is the service. Well thought out menu. Farm to table. Best filet minion I had in years. Five stars all around.

Not Omaha - it’s in Tekamah but you have to try it! Doesn’t anyone else get tired of the same Ol’ places in town ? We went to Chatterbox Brews. It’s located in Tekamaha, Ne. About 40 ish minutes north - about 15 ish mins past blair. Chatterbox is a farm to table type of place - so the ingredients are really fresh and local. The menu changes daily so check their FB page for the latest. We chose to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather and a cocktail before dinner. We were greeted by the 2 ladies working - “known as the dynamic duo”. Mylee seemed to be more of our waitress. Both of them were super cool and they seemed like family friends almost. Service was out of the park. She made us feel welcome. My wife had the tenderloin bites and I had the NY strip. Both were cooked perfect ! Sides were asparagus with shaved Parmesan cheese I think it was and augratin potatoes. We were told the beef was from “Cindy’s farm” ? and the asparagus was cut this morning. The cheese sauce that was in the potatoes is made from scratch as well they said. The augratin potatoes - best we’ve ever had. The food was OUTSTANDING. My local fav for steak is J Gilbert’s and this was right up there with it. But it was nice to sit out on the patio and not be in some fancy loud resturant. Shorts and a T shirt was fine too. We had 4 drinks , 2 meals and our bill was $74. Well worth it! Mylee did a hell of a job making our evening fun. We’re definitely going back. Highly recommend. Food is amazing.

I loved so much about this place. It's comfy, room for large groups. There food is delicious. But they have very small portions. And you don't get to pick your sides or even add an extra something so you get full. I don't mind spending dollars on good food but you should feel full when you leave. Everyone in our party of 9 was still hungry when they left.
