Great find! We were camping by the interstate and decided to go see what was available in town to eat. We saw this first and gave it a try. Food was some of the best we have had in a long time and prices were very reasonable. Wait staff was great which seems to be a lost art these days. Skip the chain restaurants and give these small places a chance.

Hamburger was dry. My wife's mashed potatoes were old, sticky, and loaded with onion salt. They have old chairs with old cracked cushions with the cush gone. Fish (Tilapia) was good. Waffle fries ok. Didn't try steaks. They seened too expensive for a place that lacks atmosphere which it kinda does . In places this plain you expect they'll make up for it with both great food and lower prices. However, it looked like the regulars ordered steak ao I should have tried one I guess. Overall I was disappointed

It's worth a stop if you are in the area, there really is nothing else. It's a small town so service can suffer if it gets too busy but the food is what you'd expect of a small town bar and grill.

The service was fair, the poor kid was scrambling to make things right with the cooks mistakes. I ordered fries with my sandwich and the kitchen still hadn't sent them out by the time I was finished eating. My fiance ordered a fried chicken sandwich and they forgot the cheese, by the time they got around to cheese the sandwich was cold. The lettuce was so old it felt as if we were chewing on rubber. If this is the way things are on a regular basis I would not recommend this establishment even for a bottle of beer. VERY DISAPPOINTING ENCOUNTER!!!

I've enjoyed many Saturday night supper meals here (love the smothered chicken), but had my first chicken fried steak special on a recent Wednesday noon visit. It was an enormous amount of food, but so delicious!I would note that I don't need a glass of ice to accompany my can of soda, and I greatly prefer to either open my own can, or at least not have it opened before it reaches the table, but that's personal preference.Thank you for yet another delightful restaurant experience!
