Pearl Street Steakhouse & Lounge

I visit family in Wayne a couple times a year and we used to go to Geno’s. The new chef/owner as Pearl Street has made loads of bad moves to offend and repulse local people, but we tried it again tonight, Dec 2025. The menu is small, but that’s fine. The service was acceptable, but the Ruben was great, the Alfredo was excellent and the fresh cut shoestring potatoes were good!
The prices were fair. We will consider going back again. Wish they had TV in the bar area, but no. Also, they do not take reservations. I know, the rules keep changing.
Please go! Wayne needs this option for dining out!!!

Don't let the name fool you, one steak on the menu a sirloin for $27.... Overpriced mediocre food...

This was our first time to Pearl Street Steakhouse and we enjoyed it very much. The salmon and the steak caesar wrap were delicious. My husband loved the brussel sprouts. The staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband, a retired Wayne State professor, and I had a wonderful dinner. The steaks were perfectly done as were the vegetables. Our baked potatoes were stuffed to perfection with sour cream, bacon, butter, cheese and fried onions. Britney and her husband, a professional chef, are new owners. Please support their business! Wayne, America is fortunate to have such talented entrepreneurs!!

All around, AMAZING! From the owners, to the servers, to the fun drinks, to the food— so good!! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night, highly recommend! The Mahi Mahi is perfection, a must try for sure!

The new steakhouse does not live up to Gino’s. No salad bar, sides salad was only spinach leaves, no iceberg or Romain. It was only 7 PM and they were out of prime rib already. The New York strips were pretty good. I ordered Alfredo with shrimp. The Alfredo was over macaroni spirals, really macaroni, not linguine. The Alfredo, I have had better out of a jar. I had two large shrimps that were grilled. The taste was fine, but they were so tough. I couldn’t chew them. The service was great. The food is way overpriced. Sorry I won’t go back.
