Confused because it seems as though there was a nice restaurant side and a low rent diner side. We sat on the diner side. Food was very blah. Even ordered their specialties. I'm sure it's a local favorite and they have their regulars, but they need Gordon Ramsey to come in and shake things up.

My favorite restaurant of all times. I've rented the beer garden twice for class reunions, had multiple large dinners and events here and I LOVE their salad bar during the week. The Sunday brunch has no competition anywhere in the world! The bar is a great place to stop for a drink. Great food & service!

We have been enjoying Chances for many years now. I think this classic restaurant is one of the few legends that made it through the pandemic and is still thriving, with quality food service and atmosphere.

Nice place,good service. Ordered the famous house chicken and it came out luke warm at best. I guess they didn't nuke it long enough.
SUE HODGSON: Sounds like the way you and your group behaved that evening, your presence will not be missed by you not coming back. Unrealistic expectations. Some of those waitresses are still learning and not perfect. No one is (except apparently you). And you also were not the only table in there. Your waitress that evening is 16, she just turned 16...... Which means she cannot serve you alcohol. And that also means that she hasn't been waitressing very long and she will have a learning curve like anybody else would. Give those kids a little slack, they're kids.... Not adults. They're trying. I know that's tough for some people to understand, but give it your best shot! .....and don't be so quick to complain. We've been eating there for many years, and so have many others. No one is perfect, (Not even you believe it or not) and understand some times there can be hiccups. Did you ask to speak to a manager like a grown adult and work things out with them? No.... You get on the internet and blast them for not being perfect. Do better.

Two dinners ordered - the sirloin & baked potato were good; the roast beef dinner (both beef & potatoes ) were cold. The beef was like Arby’s - just sliced a bit thicker. The waitress is apparently new and REALLY needs training. She was pleasant but wanting to take food order before offering cocktail. Did not ask how steak was to be cooked; did not bring cocktails. was not at all familiar with menu. ( Didn’t know soup or vegetable options.) Cannot recommend eating here.

Great place for groups! Waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Wings are a fabulous appetizer for the table. Be careful going to the bathroom, you may get lost lol

Had a really nice birthday dinner here and our server (I believe it was Tegan) was super friendly, very responsive, and checked on us often. The breaded mushrooms were crazy good, and the beef was fresh with a perfect char. Portions were perfectly sized, and we even had leftover to take home. So, great food, great service, and reasonably priced.
