Great customer service! The manager took care of an issue in an appropriately professional manner and the food was delicious.

Pizza was amazing. The service was also efficient. It’s a nice family restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Oh try their salads too.

Well, I went to The Kitchen and was so satisfied with the great food, wonderful atmosphere and amazing service by Charity. She’s a really good waitress.. I will be back for sure if I’m in this area again.

My wife and I have enjoyed the kitchen restaurant for many years as we travel by. We started off before Covid with their soup and salad bar and loved it. Wish it was back!!! We just left there tonight. I had the southern catfish and she had the breaded tenderloin and they were absolutely phenomenal The flavor the size everything was really good. this place will meet your expectations for good food good service good atmosphere and if it don’t, there’s something wrong with you… two hush puppies are missing from the plate. I got one and my wife got one as soon as they set them down.

I used to regularly recommend The Kitchen. I am not longer able to eat there at all. The scary thing is that they have a veggie skillet which is no longer vegetarian.

Great food I ordered the chicken fried tenderloin with hash browns and two eggs. Would recommend only gripe is their regular coffee its not for me. I didn't try their espresso or latte maybe next time. Hopefully they change their coffee brand it would be 5 stars.

This establishment offers a classic American dining experience, reminiscent of Country Kitchen or Perkins, yet with a more individualized approach. It provides a sense of comfort without the typical franchise feel. Having dined here on multiple occasions and sampled various menu items, I can confirm that the quality has consistently met expectations. While I wouldn't characterize the food as aggressively exceptional, it consistently delivers a deeply satisfying comfort. The service is notably efficient and timely, with dishes arriving hot and freshly prepared. The waitstaff are attentive without being intrusive, and the pricing is commensurate with the value received. I would rate this establishment 11 out of 10 and intend to be a returning patron.

Had the ribeye breakfast. It actually looked like the photo in the menu. Cooked just the way i wanted. Eggs and hash browns were good, and the pancakes were good and fluffy. Definitely a good place to eat in York.

Angry old woman yelling at me that they close at 3: PM when I walked in at 3:20 for a simple cheeseburger order.
I called at 1 : PM and the nice girl on the phone said they close at 4: PM. This is why small “mom & pop” places aren’t around anymore. Because the lazy “mom and pops” only open when they feel like it and close down for the day whenever they feel like it. 👎👎

This will be an Indian restaurant very soon I guarantee it. At least it will be consistent if it is Indian owned.

The pulled pork burger was the best thing about coming to Nebraska!

Chicken straps and fries. The grease tasted old.
